- 1 lb ground beef (80/20) – substitute: plant-based ground
- 1–2 tsp truffle oil – substitute: truffle-infused olive oil
- 4 slices goat cheese – substitute: brie or Swiss
- 4 brioche buns – substitute: potato or gluten-free buns
- 1/2 cup caramelized onions – substitute: sautéed mushrooms
Instructions
- Preheat a cast-iron skillet or griddle until very hot.
- Roll ground beef into balls, place on the hot surface, and smash flat.
- Cook 2–3 minutes per side; flip and top with goat cheese.
- Toast brioche buns and optionally brush with truffle oil.
- Assemble with caramelized onions, truffle oil, and patties inside the buns.
Notes
Serve with truffle fries or roasted sweet potato wedges. Top with microgreens or shaved Parmesan, and pair with garlic aioli, bold red wine, or a craft soda.
