  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20) – substitute: plant-based ground
  • 12 tsp truffle oil – substitute: truffle-infused olive oil
  • 4 slices goat cheese – substitute: brie or Swiss
  • 4 brioche buns – substitute: potato or gluten-free buns
  • 1/2 cup caramelized onions – substitute: sautéed mushrooms

Instructions

  1. Preheat a cast-iron skillet or griddle until very hot.
  2. Roll ground beef into balls, place on the hot surface, and smash flat.
  3. Cook 2–3 minutes per side; flip and top with goat cheese.
  4. Toast brioche buns and optionally brush with truffle oil.
  5. Assemble with caramelized onions, truffle oil, and patties inside the buns.
