Ingredients

- 1 beef burger patty (preferably Shack-style or Angus)
- 1 potato bun, toasted
- 1 slice gruyère cheese
- 1–2 tbsp black truffle burger sauce (see recipe)
- Optional: butter for toasting bun
Instructions
- Grill or pan-sear the burger patty to your preferred doneness.
- Toast the potato bun lightly with butter if desired.
- Place a slice of gruyère cheese on the patty and allow it to melt slightly.
- Spread black truffle sauce on the top or bottom bun, or both.
- Assemble the burger and serve hot.
Notes
For a closer Shake Shack dupe, use a smash burger technique and lightly butter the bun before toasting. You can also use our homemade truffle burger sauce for an authentic flavor match.
