Ingredients
Scale
- 1 (6–8 oz) ground beef patty
- 2–3 slices beef bacon
- 1 large egg
- 1 slice cheddar cheese
- 1 burger bun, toasted
- ½ cup hash browns (optional)
- ¼ cup caramelized onions
- 1 tbsp hot sauce or aioli
- Optional: garlic butter for buns
- Optional: sliced avocado, jalapeños, arugula
Instructions
- Season ground beef with salt and pepper; shape into a patty and cook over medium‑high heat 4–5 min per side until desired doneness.
- In a separate pan, fry beef bacon until crispy; drain excess grease.
- In the same pan, fry egg sunny‑side up or over‑easy for a runny yolk.
- Toast burger bun. During the last minute of cooking the patty, top it with cheddar to melt.
- Assemble burger: bottom bun, hash browns (if using), patty with melted cheese, crispy bacon, fried egg, caramelized onions, drizzle hot sauce/aioli, top bun.
Notes
For extra flavor, spread garlic butter on buns before toasting. You can swap hash browns for avocado or sautéed spinach. Add jalapeños or arugula for heat and freshness.
